Frei, the Goddess of Autumn, the Harvest and the forest, is often portrayed with copper skin, shoulder length hair made of tree-leaves of changing colors, and eyes the color of black opals. She is medium height and somewhat muscular, and almost never smiles. She usually wears opulent robes which shimmer in the light. She is sometimes shown as a white stag.
Her priesthood is split into two; women and few men who care for the temples and maintain her sacred groves, they preside over the ceremonies that take place in the groves, feasts and the like, those who serve Frei in this faction are often referred to as Caregivers. Men who serve Frei, serve in two capacities, first, they act as administrators, chroniclers and guards. Frei sometimes demands, on a wim, that her followers perform a hunt, in her honor. This occurs at least once a year, her followers will be driven to a frenzy and will hunt all throughout the night, sometimes with the help of Frei herself. This hunt is followed by a feast. Her followers also hold a grand festival during the harvest, her faithful asking for her protection during the winter.
